Experienced Presales (and Postsales) Specialist required for fast-growing Software Development company based in Australia.

The Role

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing sales assistance to the Sales team with the technical knowledge of products and services and to the Development team in regards to architecture recommendations for the solution. The role is both challenging and exciting. It requires a person to work seamlessly across all aspects of an opportunity, ie. from assisting with pre-sales through to ownership of technical designs.

Some of the responsibilities of this role include:

  • Responsible for providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education to the Sales team, customers, prospects, technical delivery team and project management
  • Provide technical specifications for proposals
  • Ongoing communication with Sales and customers to understand their needs.
  • Ongoing Communication with the delivery team to answer questions about method, architecture, technology stack and pre/post-sale architecture designs
  • Conduct technical presentations to demonstrates how products and services are beneficial and meet customers’ needs.
  • Liaise with other departments in the company to gather technical expertise for supporting the Sales team.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a customer facing sales engineer, consultant or solution architect.
  • Experience in facilitating pre-sales presentations to customers; scoping and proposals.
  • Proven experience designing solutions on Zoho One, WordPress and/or website development, Node JS, PHP and frameworks. Chatbot and A.I experience would be advantageous
  • Proven experience in external system integration including cloud and API knowledge
  • Sound knowledge of software development methodologies including Fixed Price, Hybrid Agile, Pure Agile and the limitations of all including Change Request management processes
  • Ability to quickly identify out of scope items in a project
  • Ability to attend daily Project and Sales meetings in Sydney timezone and work with a global disparate team of Project Management, Business Process Engineers, Software Developers and Salespeople

The Role

As part of our development team, you will be tasked to analyse, design and develop custom software using WordPress based on the requirements provided. If hired, you will be joining our existing team of highly-skilled WordPress developers and together make a positive impact on our expanding community of clients through innovation and improvement of our products.

Some of the responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and maintaining creative technical solutions for the company’s websites.
  • Modifying or developing new back-end features and plugins, custom functionality and theme integration.
  • Responsible in Front-End Quality Assurance and code review.
  • Writing and maintaining a well-documented, reusable and transferable code
  • Collaborating with other teams to resolve bugs and support needs and requests.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Proven work experience in PHP and WordPress.
  • Advanced knowledge in back-end and plugin development for WordPress
  • In-depth knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript framework.
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
  • Substantial experience working with similar technologies and environments.
  • Working knowledge of relational database systems, version control tools, and developing web services

The Role

As part of our development team, you will be tasked to analyse and utilise Zoho applications and solutions depending on the requirements given. These include doing custom development to automate different business processes.

Some of the responsibilities of this role include:

  • Build process-based applications (i.e. customer portal, HTML page views, dashboards, custom search modules, pivot charts, work progress trackers), automate routine tasks (i.e. appointment modules, email and SMS campaigns, invoice generation) and manage data efficiently using Zoho applications particularly Zoho Creator.
  • Implement, customise and administer Zoho applications including Projects, Desk, CRM and more.
  • Effectively utilise Zoho modules to automate various business processes
  • Integrate current apps with other Zoho applications and third-party services.
  • Ensure effective usage of Zoho applications throughout the organisation by monitoring and mentoring the team.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Proven knowledge and experience in designing and developing solutions using different Zoho applications specifically Creator and Flow.
  • Solid experience in the customisation, implementation and administration of various Zoho applications particularly Projects, Desk and CRM.
  • Working knowledge of other Zoho apps is advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of software development methodologies including Fixed Price, Hybrid Agile, Pure Agile and the limitations of all including Change Request management processes
  • Ability to quickly identify out of scope items in a project.
